About Constancia Loubriel
I Started my life’s journey in food & wine right after I came back from a month-long sabbatical in Italy. Before that, I was running my own company for almost 20 years and was becoming burned out. That’s why I went to Italy to reset my self but instead, I became reborn. Experiencing the Italian culture the people, food, & the wine had such a profound effect on me. When I came back I immediately laid out a game plan to retire from my company by my 40th Birthday. I then started attending every wine & food course given locally in Orange County & Los Angeles.
I Meet Two Legends in Wine
My first Mentor I am proud to say was Master Sommelier Michael Jordan he was the one that gave me the confidence to start down the road of Wine he recommended me to do Court of Master level one. After that I was hooked!
However I realized I preferred to be more on the business side of the wine industry. So he felt Wset would be a better fit.
I was soon Introduced to Peter Neptune Master Sommelier & Wset Diploma. Once I joined Peter’s class I decided I must become a Wset Diploma graduate. I have always been extremely driven looking to always challenge myself to be the best version of me. With my new goal in sight I set off to complete all of Wsets courses with the special opportunity of learning personally from one of the top Somm’s in the world.
Fast forward I am only one test away from Wset Diploma. I am looking to learn hands on every facet of the wine business. To help increase my learning I am tasting wines daily writing about them on my site, interviewing winemakers, chefs, experts and more….
Once I get my Wset Diploma my next goal is to apply to the Master of Wine program Wish me Luck!
